Studied in Berlin; admitted to the bar in 2002; research fellow at the Viadrina European University (Commercial Law) and PhD studies, partner at the Berlin office of a regional law partnership since 2002; merged with Ihde & Partner Rechtsanwaelte in 2006; certified specialist for Commercial and Corporate Law since 2009, certified specialist for Copyright and Media Law since 2011.

Claas was an initiator, legal adviser and a managing director to the Federal Association of the Computer Games Industries (G.A.M.E.) for 10 years. He also was managing as an interim CEO the German age rating organization for video games (USK) for two years. Claas had a seat in the advisory board for creative industries of the Berlin Chamber of Commerce. Claas has been elected to and holds a seat in the Copyright Expert Committee of the German Culture Council. Claas invests in several Startups as a “business angel” and supports companies with his network.


He publishes articles in specialist journals, collaborates on scientific publications and books, and holds lectures.

 

For the 7th year in a row, he has been ranked amongst Germany's top five lawyers in the fields of Entertainment Law and Games Law (JUVE 2009 - 2014). He is evaluated by his competing peers as an “excellent strategist” (JUVE 2011), an “excellent lawyer” who has a “deep knowledge of the entertainment and games industry” (JUVE 2010; Kanzleien in Deutschland, 2010). He is also recommended by other major law firm guides, such as Legal’s finest 2015 (Client Choice TMT Law Award) and Best Lawyer’s 2015 (Handelsblatt).

R Ihde Neu 284x412Law studied in Bayreuth and Augsburg; internships in the USA and France; admitted to the Berlin Bar in 1989; Notary since 1999; has been working since 1989 in law firms specializing in business law, particularly in contract, company and tax law; in 1997 established the Berlin office of a law firm specialising in the area of information technology; operating since 2001 under the name "Ihde & Partner Rechtsanwaelte"; Certified Specialist for Commercial and Corporate Law as well as for Tax Law.

Rainer Ihde focuses on technology companies, especially with respect to contract and company law. In particular his work involves contracts for IT projects, licensing conditions and sales structures and company law issues. As a notary his focus is on real estate and company law.

Rainer Ihde has been involved in various associations for many years and is currently a member of the "German Society for Law and Informatics", the "Information Technology Working Group of the German Bar Association" and the "International Technology Law Association (ITechLaw)". He is a Senator of Junior Chamber International and included in Best  Lawyers for Information Technology in Germany since 2009. He advises IT companies in various Supervisory Board positions. Doctor of Laws in 1999 with summa cum laude honors. (Doctoral thesis: The German Civil Code in Common Law Perspective, a study in comparative law.) Postgraduate judicial traineeship in Berlin. Admission to the bar in 2001. Certified Specialist for IP Law since 2007. Associate lawyer in a major national law firm of intellectual property lawyers and patent attorneys for six years.

Dr. Dittmann mainly advises high-tech industry and media companies in all relevant legal matters, with a particular focus on competition law, copyright law, intellectual property law, trademark law, design patents, protection of know-how, contract law. This includes litigation as well as out-of-court counselling, asserting claims, drafting contracts and agreements (in particular license agreements, know-how licenses, R & D contracts, project development contracts, general terms and conditions). Chief among his clients are both German and international companies from England and China, media companies dealing in electronic cartography and digital aerial photography, a major German producer of stationery and school supplies, a major British-Dutch credit information company, importers and retailers of electronic products.

Born in 1972, grew up in Oldenburg (Oldb); spent 18 months in Moscow (1992 -1994); studied law in Berlin (Humboldt University) followed by postgraduate judicial traineeship; admitted to the bar in 2001; Certified Specialist for IP law since the beginning of 2009; Certified Specialist for IT law since 2010; member of the Committee for IT law of the Berlin Chamber of Lawyers (Fachanwaltsausschuss Informationstechnologierecht); has been selected by his peers to be included in Best Lawyers / Germany in the field of Information Technology.

Fabian Laucken has more than 10 years experience advising companies and business clients in the fields of IT/IP law, competition law, data security/privacy law and consumer protection law, drafting and negotiating licensing agreements, standard contracts, general terms and conditions and individual project-related contracts. His experience includes litigation in cases of trademark or copyright infringement, warning letters and injunctions. Certified Specialist for IP Law as well as for Competition Law

Kay Wagner studied law in Marburg and Potsdam, trained (postgraduate judicial service trainee) in Berlin and Cape Town, and was admitted to the German bar in 2000.  He became a Doctor of Law in 2001.  From 2002 to 2009 he was the head of the IP-desk at the Berlin office of a national law firm. In 2010 he started as a partner at Ihde & Partners.

Being a certified specialist in intellectual property law, Kay Wagner has broad experience in assisting companies in copyright matters, trademark law, competition and sales law and national and European competition law. His clients include media companies (in particular live entertainment firms), who he advises on the enforcement of intellectual property rights and on the legal aspects of production subletting (artist agreements, touring contracts, distribution agreements). In addition, he advises clients on personal privacy law, press law and media law. He is a board member of a non-profit association.

After his professional training including A-levels, law studies in Berlin and Bordeaux; working stays in Moscow and Paris; legal internship in Berlin; admitted to the bar in 2000 and to the Court of Appeal in 2005; in 2000 established a regional law partnership and partner at the Berlin branch; merged with Ihde & Partner Rechtsanwaelte in 2006.

Ivailo Ziegenhagen advises both companies and individuals mainly on individual and collective labour law. This includes, among other services, the drafting, development and termination of employer-employee relationships and personnel by means of employment contracts, written warnings, fixed-term agreements and further training measures etc. He also advises employers and works councils on matters of co-determination, the establishment of and compliance with works agreements, reconciliations of interests and social compensation plans.

Furthermore, he also provides advice on the trading, sale and financing of technology and media products and answers questions concerning data and consumer protection law and the law governing the protection of young persons.

Ivailo Ziegenhagen carries out a wide range of training services and talks. He is a tutor for trainee lawyers in the field of private law.
